Working with Yohanna Joseph Waliya, I designed and developed a website that serves as a digital platform for African Electronic Literature. The site features a collection of works presented on a satisfying map built using Leafelt.js. The map allows users to explore the works based on their geographical locations, providing a unique and interactive experience. When you click on a work it pulls all necessary dat from the database. You can also search the database for specific works.
The main challenge was to create a visually appealing and user-friendly interface that effectively showcases the diverse range of works. I focused on ensuring that the design was not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional, allowing users to easily navigate through the collection and access detailed information about each work.
